Read aloud guidance for Ohio’s new state tests

The Ohio Department of Education, Office for Exceptional Children, released information for English language arts test accommodations on IEP and 504 plans. This memorandum references the recently released FAQ on read aloud accommodations for state tests and the new IEP or 504 Plan Decision-Making Tool

The tool contains required guidelines and will assist teams in making data-based decisions about the use of read aloud accommodations for statewide testing by students with disabilities. The IEP or 504 Plan Decision-Making Tool is not a required form.
