Comment by March 12 on revisions to Ohio’s extended science, social studies standards
The Ohio Department of Education is seeking your suggestions on Ohio’s Learning Standards in Science and Social Studies – Extended. Your feedback is important to inform how or whether these standard are improved to better prepare students for the changing expectations of their options after high school. Share your thoughts about the standards via this survey open through March 12.
PD addresses new gifted requirement
New professional development requirements for those who are the identified provider of services to gifted students prompted the Ohio Leadership Advisory Council to launch new resources to help districts better support gifted students and adapt to the revisions of Ohio’s gifted operating standards. Developed by nationally-recognized experts in gifted education, these free resources can be used for individual or group-based learning. Learn more.
