Governor's 1 percent budget increase for schools falls short
A 1 percent increase for schools is likely to come up during Office of Budget and Management Director Tim Keen's testimony to the state House Finance Committee Feb. 1. Gov. John Kasich announced this week that schools will find an additional 1 percent in his state budget when it's released Monday. OFT believes firmly that 1 percent is too little investment in our public schools and we will soon be asking you to activate your voices on the subject.
