The Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) is a 19-state consortium working together to create next generation assessments. PARCC is developing tasks to measure the critical content and skills found in the Common Core State Standards (CCSS).

The PARCC field test will go live March 24. PARCC tests are designed to give teachers information and tools they can use to customize teaching and learning for each student, and give students test questions that are meaningful - with the kinds of activities that great teachers routinely ask students. That means that testing time can be learning time. Learn more.
