OFT Workshop Features Details of Ohio's Ed Reform Plan (HB1)
The OFT Union Leadership Institute Committee is offering a fall workshop on The workshop will review changes enacted with the passage of House Bill 1, the biennial state budget that included John Stanford, Governor Strickland's Executive Assistant for Education Policy, will present the ins and outs of the Evidence Based Model, including how it provides the resources necessary for educators to do their jobs most effectively. Tim Bollin, Educator Standards Board (ESB) member from What: ULI Information Session on Ohio's Education Reform Plan (HB1) When: Saturday, Nov. 14, 10 a.m -3 p.m. Where: It is important that all locals be represented at this workshop to ensure that they are informed about the changes that will impact every school district and every OFT member.
